Starting with purpose, we determined that CEO, Faraje, had essentially formed this product out of a passion for entrepreneurship. We unearthed a desire to help young entrepreneurs find freedom from the 9-5 grind and live a life of their own design. This provided a unique differentiator, as most tanning companies seemed to focus mostly on sexuality and vanity. His product offered a great opportunity for his clientele to find a life of freedom and excitement that they would not have access to otherwise.
The brand was established using the right blend of carefree fun, elegant beauty, and business mindedness. It needed to stand apart from the vanity of traditional tanning brands while remaining true to the product and showing plenty of beautiful tan skin. We choose a visual theme we describe as up-scale tropical: beach settings, confident classy models, minimalist ideals, and fun fruity colors. We settled on a tone that was both confident and cute and challenged their prospects to ‘Be Their Own Boss’.
